Cook In Bulk & Freeze The Excess For Quick, Healthy Meals Later.

It takes just as long to cook 6 chicken breasts as it does 2. I buy bulk chicken/meat and then I cook it all up. I reserve my portion for cooking that night and put the excess into serving size baggies and freeze. The next time I need it, it's already cooked and dinner's a breeze! I also get my hubby to grill a bunch of meat and do the same trick with it.

  • I have done this for years! Now I cook in bulk and provide some of the meals for my DH's elderly parents who are unable to cook for themselves. Gives their caregiver good meals to heat for them. - by IMNENA23
