I'm sure I look odd bouncing around on the treadmill with a book five inches from my nose, but reading fast-paced, trashy novels makes the time fly by, especially when I'm doing the harder jogging intervals. Music is great for pacing, but the book gets my mind in another world entirely while the treadmill keeps me at the right pace.

I do this on the bike! I can't do it on the treadmill because I can't focus when I'm bouncing around, but I love getting a good murder mystery and getting on the stationary bike.
