During these days I discovered after 3 to 3.5 miles run , I was not properly cooling down. I was just taking 5 mins to cool down and doing stretching thereafter.I has feeling diziness for few hours after the run.Now I have increased the duration to 15 mins and feeling quite comfortable. I had lost hope that I may not be able to run but the 5K programmes of SP for beginners has helped me alot.

I've been taking aerobics classes recently and working myself pretty hard, but I don't ever feel that I'm completely cooled down. I drive right home after them and take Oliver for a good walk to cool down. Three benefits: 1- A tired dog. 2-I've cooled down 3-no sore muscles. I think the walking for 30-45 minutes really loosens the muscles up after a workout and my legs haven't been sore once.
Next time you drive to your favorite fitness center for a workout, park as far from the front door as possible. I see people at my local 24 Hour fitness center driving in circles looking for a close spot. Why? Try to break this habit for the gym at least, and you may end up breaking it for good!
If your gym is within a mile, walk to it for a nice warm up and cool down.
