When prebaking a piecrust, use beans to keep it from puffing up or shrinking into the pie plate: Line the bottom and sides of the cold dough with foil and fill to the brim with beans.

    I like the idea, since I never seem to have dried beans in the house for blind baking, but coffee beans I have TONS! gg
Can I still use the beans for making coffee after I baked them once or do I have to toss them (ouch, this would be painful for me!)?
