Setting a specific goal for myself helped me to start & continue to lose weight. and motivate me for over a year.
I had lived out of the country for a while. When I left I was VERY skinny.
Over the intervening 40 yrs. I had gained 110 lbs. I wanted to go back for a visit, so I set a goal of losing at least 80 of that. I am traveling next month. As of yesterday, I had lost 85 lbs, and probably can lose a few more before I leave. (click title to continue)
I'm not sure if I could have managed it without that goal. So decide when you want to wear a bathing suit again. Make plans to visit an old flame and decide how great you will look. Buy a great little dress you want to fit into by next spring. Set a goal and keep your eyes on it. Don't flinch!
