This is easy! Open the inside bag on your dry cereal ALL the way. This way, you can use a measuring cup to get the right amount of cereal. I found that when I just poured (even into my one cup bowl), it was WAY TOO EASY to get too much. Every 1/4 cup extra adds calories you may not want to eat!

I shop at a grocery outlet store, the kind of place where you buy as much of whatever product you see because it may not be there the next time. I buy very healthy cereal for about $2 a box. I have a great big plastic storage box at home where I pour the cereal and mix it. Then I fill a standard cereal Tupperware type canister to serve from. I measure my cereal every morning .

Some mornings, it's more "twigs", another more flakes or squares, but it has flavor variety every day. That huge tub holds about six months of cereal and, because it has such a tight seal, it does not get stale.
