I only use my coupons when things are on clearance or on sale in the grocery stores. You can usually combine the two discounts for added savings.

I have become quite the coupon person. To get coupons for healty foods, go to that companies website and tell them you are trying to get healthy and wanted to purchase their product and was wondering if they could send you some coupons. If you subscribe to the Dole.com website, you can get coupons for bagged salad and fruits. The same goes for Kelloggs (I love special K) and yoplait yogurt.

I do that a lot. However my frustration is that now that I'm making the transition to no processed foods, and more whole foods, I can't find coupons. Coupons don't exist for produce. Pretty much the only thing I find a coupon for is something that's frozen, in a box, or highly processed. It works for my hygiene stuff quite well, but I'm frustrated there aren't more coupons for healthy alternatives. There are some, but they're not as abundant.
