I am so excited. My husband asked how much weight I had lost so far. When I told him, he said - I am really starting to see it. I really notice it in your legs and butt. YIPPEE!!! Best compliment I have had in a long time.

Eating healthy and losing weight are like climbing a mountain. You start off , climbing is easy, standing tall with the wind at your back. Soon the climb becomes harder. You hit lose rock and slip around sometimes taking2 steps back. Then you reach a ledge(plateau) and stop to take a breathe always looking up at the summit anxiously waiting for a chance to be on top of the world. Mount Everest is29,035 feet tall. If one calorie lost equaled one foot up Mt Everest, I've made 4 round trips.
To find out how many trips you have made up the moutain .Multiple your weight loss X 3500(calories in one pound). This is the hardest but most rewarding thing I've ever done. What makes it easier is the support of family, friends and a community of walkers at my local mall cheering me on!!
I realized that once you learn to accept you are in control of yourself and not others or the world around you. Everything will fall into place. There is no weight that you are caring that will make you overeat. Once you remind yourself that only you can control your actions and emotions.
