Clean Your Dryer Lint Trap With A Used Fabric Softener Sheet.

After drying your laundry, you should always empty the lint trap. Yet when you do, it tends to fly everywhere. Take a used fabric softener sheet out of the laundry and use that to collect the lint. The anti-static properties will keep it from flying everywhere and the fibers help grab all of it in one swipe.

Purex has made a product that is laundry detergent, fabric softener and dryer sheet all in one. Drop one in the washer and the detergent is released, put it in the dryer and the clothes come out soft and static-free. No more remembering to add fabric softener and the cost is comparable to buying detergent, fabric softener and dryer sheets. Less carbon footprint since you can buy refills as well. Love them!
They come in various fragrances as well. I don't know if they make a fragrance-free type or not.
You clean your lint trap right? But do you really clean it? Try this, after cleaning run it under hot water. How much is still held? The reason is the wax build up from your dryer sheet. This overheats and can burn your heating element. Take a toothbrush and soap to the lint trap to really clean it.
