Quick Sort Of Clothes After Vacation

When we go on vacation, my family puts the dirty clothes for the day in one pile. I put it in garbage bag (or Walmart plastic bags) and take home in one suitcase. Clothes we don't wear go in another suitcase.
Then when we go home, the plastic bag(s) full of dirty clothes get quickly unpacked and thrown down the steps to the basement. Easy unpacking, and clean clothes a lot faster!

  • I do the same I put mine in a large pillow case that has a zipper I just throw it down the steps as I am unpacking everything else. - by JUDYAMK
  • I do the same--there's only two of us though. One other thing I do is unpack as soon as I get home. I don't wait--even if it is late at night. - by TEACH2READERS
  • I do the same. When you have 5 people it really helps to keep all the dirties together. - by KPETSCHE
  • An even better ploy is to save your "ratty" underwear and after you've worn them, throw them away! I'm doing that on an upcoming vacation with panties, socks and PJ's. I have friends who bring their entire vacation wardrobe with the intention of leaving it all in the trash as the vacation progresses! A little extreme, but it works for them! - by MARYELLEN301
