If your garbage disposal is smelling a bit foul, turn on the water, start the disposal, and toss in orange peels one at a time. Larger peels will spin around a few times as they're chopped, helping to remove pieces stuck in there, and the smell will be replaced by the strong smell of fresh orange. When the peels are gone, keep running the disposal and the water for another minute to make sure it's all rinsed.
Of course, eating the orange can help you as well. Valencia oranges have about 7 grams of fiber (navel oranges have about half that) and can satisfy a sweet tooth. They have only 14 grams of other carbs, so they are sweet without being sinful.
