I'm running my first 10K in June and while I was at a training session to get ready, a local TV station was getting video for the news that evening. I knew a camera was near me but it was pretty brief (I thought I was just part of a crowd!) A couple of my neighbors saw me and now everyone knows!

I've found the best time to decide if I'm going to exercise is about 20 minutes into a routine! When I don't feel like getting started, I have a good, firm talk with myself, and head out (or start the DVD). Sure enough, in 15 or 20 minutes, I'm feeling great and wanting to continue!
Making a commitment to work out with a friend provides two people the needed inspiration:)
Make a commitment to yourself, your family, your friends, to spark people. Following a commitment does not depend on motivation. Once I've made a commitment to something, I do it no matter how I feel. Don't wait for the motivation. Make a commitment today!
