Don't Overcook Broccoli Steam Broccoli 4 mintues only to reap it's cancer fighting properties. An Apple a day is also good cancer fighter. Studies have demonstrated that people who eat a plant-based diet rich in fruits, vegetables, & whole grains have a significantly lower risk of developing many types of cancers and certainly chronic disease. Pineapple helps Breast and lung cancers. Green & black teas are good for their cancer fighting abilities. Eat berries, tomatoes, garlic, pumpkin.

    I eat all these especially broccoli and apples. I buy the sliced apples already packaged at Cosco and it is a perfect snack.
