I went into a jacuzzi wearing a sterling silver necklace and it turned BROWN! I had warn this necklace for 4 years and this had never happened before! Here's how I fixed it: ~Take a pot deep enough to submerge what your trying to fix. ~Line the pot with aluminum foil. ~Add 1tsp of salt and 1tsp of baking soda ~Add enough water to cover the object ~Bring to a boil and "cook" for at least 3 minutes! ~It was a bit dull afterward so I cleaned it with toothpaste and it's good as new!!

Ever forget to remove your eye makeup before swimming? Yikes!!
On days when I forget to ditch the mascara and eyeliner and don't have makeup remover with me, a little dab of hair conditioner on a tissue worked amazingly well. It cut right right through the mascara and eyeliner. It worked so well, I might actually stop using more expensive removers altogether!
Whenever I bake chicken or fish, I line the baking dish with foil and spray it with nonstick spray before I put the meat in the dish. Then when its done, I just throw the foil away and give the dish a quick suds and rinse. I save so much time on cleaning up this way!
This also works on baking sheets if I'm making homemade french fries or roasted veggies or things like that.
