In full disclosure, my friends call me "Gidget" because I LOVE and collect kitchen Gadgets... But I absolutely LOVE my Vidalia Chop Wizard. Using the Chop Wizard I am able to make fresh mango salsa in less than 5 minutes. The most time consuming part is peeling and coring the Mango (if only they made a gadget....) The Chop Wizard uniformly and easily chops the peppers and mangos without having to manually cut the produce.

I just cannot believe what Corn Syrup and Sugar Free does to me. I was not able to loose weight or stop my sugars from spiking. I started SparkPeople (WHICH IS A GREAT TOOL!!!) but had to eat mostly protein and Veggies with little Fruit. A 1/2 slice of bread would cause a 50 point spike. Now with experimenting for 3 months by eliminating any product with Corn Syrup; eating Pasta, Pizza, a Real Sandwich, Fruit my sugars are stable for a Type II but I did gain 11 lbs with all the eating I did.
It was the best 11 lb gain I ever experienced. I found my demon!!! I suggest everyone look into how Products made with Corn Syrup and Sugar Free Products effects your sugar levels. I use Stevia as a sweetener now and read labels.
I have found since I began wearing a step counter that I do move around more. I make extra trips, take the long way, etc. Yesterday I made 19,000 steps, including my workout. I think I have finally broken through my plateau and begun moving in the right direction again.
This seems to be one of the best motivational tools for keeping me moving that I have ever tried.
Lettuce wraps are the best on-the-go sandwich! And, I can fill up without guilt...almost anything that makes a sandwich works great but here's some mix ideas: - tuna/celery/chopped walnuts - chopped tomatoes/cucumbers/plain yogurt - chopped apple/a few chopped nuts, and raisins - chopped egg mixed with a little bit of low-fat mayo - chopped grapes and strawberries - shredded carrots & cucumber with a few raisins 213
