Look Up, Not Left

This Sparked Me!

Against all advice, I weigh myself EVERY DAY. And I write my weight on a wall calendar. It keeps me honest and the weight coming off. But I am aware of the day-to-day fluctuations in weight that have nothing to do with fat lost or fitness gained. So when I compare weights, I look up a row to see where I was last week, rather than left to see where I was yesterday. It keeps me honest ... and motivated!

I weigh in daily but only put into spark people every seven to ten days...and yes sometimes I am up a little but in a few days the fat has moved and I got my behind into a size smaller. I believe when the fat is moving we gain up to three pounds and I believe I can even feel it move.... emoticon

I am the same exact way - I have to weigh myself everyday because like you, it keeps me honest. I am also aware of the day to day fluctuations, and can't let this get me down if I am down one day then up the next.

I think I'll try this. My weight fluctuates so much it is hard to tell when I have really lost weight.
JJAB500 7/7/2011 9:16:00 AM
