Always sit down when you eat. Make it a habit. Treat yourself like you would a guest in your house. You would never ask a guest to eat out of a box of food standing in front of the pantry or from a container in the frig. Nor would you ask your guest to eat spoonfuls of food cooking on the cooktop or food being prepared on the counter? Eating should be purposeful. Get a plate, measure your food, track the amounts on SparkPeople, take the plate to the table and enjoy your food.

eat a piece of fruit, or couple of slices of turkey breast every 2 hours between meals, and you will never be hungry when it's time to eat the main meal. Remember, if you sit down to eat " when your hungry" you will devour everything. When you sit down to eat "when your NOT hungry" you will eat only the right portion that you should eat.
