Typically a plateau for me happens when life gets so busy I quit paying attention, neglect counting calories and don't exercise intentionally. During this time, I often don't eat ENOUGH for my body to burn additional calories and so it holds tight to the calories I already have. This is when I do what I can to survive the stress and then hop back on the wagon, counting my calories and working out intentionally. As I begin to pay attention and shake it up a bit, the pounds start shedding off.

I have been eating healthy, counting calories since June 1st. I have lost 7 pounds and I have been at the same weight for a few weeks now. I tried the eating more on the weekends, but then I gain, get back down by wed - thurs. and fri I am down like .2??? How do I know if I am under eating? For my height and weight, I burn 1900 cal. sedeteray. I work out for 30 min at lunch. Mon - wed - fri is weights - tues and thur I walk/run. But then Mon, wed, and Fri night, i do 1 hour cardio. So for ex yesterday, so yesterday i had a difference of 1281. Does this mean I can eat more on these days? I think I have plateu, but how can i after just 6 weeks???

I think you are correct. I think that we need to back track and start at the beginning. Measuring, listing and journaling. Thanks for the reminder.
