This Sparked Me!

We have three print stations in our office. I changed my computer setting to print from the machine furthest from my cubicle - and early in the day, before most other people arrive, I skip, hop, jog or walk backwards to and from the print station. Every little it helps - and this just wakes me up during my shift. ♥

    My office is on the 11th floor of 12 story building...sometimes I print out something to the 12th floor printer...and use the stairs to pick them up. Sometimes I just do the steps on the stairs from 10th floor to 12th floor, just for fun exercise...well, sometimes on heels... : emoticon

    I think that any "extra" steps we can build into our regular daytime activities help immensely. Whether it's walking up and down a couple of flights of stairs at work instead of always using the elevator; parking farther from the doors to the mall; getting off the bus or subway a couple of stops away from your destination, or simply walking to the playground to play with your kids, it's all exercise, and it's all good for you.

    Since I have a desk job it is hard to get in much exercise, I will try that. Thanks for the info.
