I don't taste until I track! I put this rule in place for myself because skipping once is a slippery slope. And by making sure my food is logged before I indulge, I can see how much my choice will "cost" me and make a last minute change if necessary!

I've ditched food at the last minute that should have never made it to my plate because I tracked it first :)

    I've been doing this too. I sometimes just put things in I MIGHT eat later and see how it stacks up. Thanks for sharing!
