The cheapest way I've found to start my garden plants and herbs is to re-use yogurt containers, eggshell cartons and the broken eggshells themselves. Using large plastic salad tubs as a mini greenhouse works great too! No more expensive jiffy pots and greenhouses for me.427
For starting plants in the yogurt containers I wad up a small bit of paper towel and then fill with dirt. Plant the seed, water regularly and voila! It will germinate quickly and then you can plant it in the ground. Place dirt in an eggshell or bottom of eggshell carton and do the same. Works great!
I found a good way to tone up your legs, get in some cardio..and include your children is to march!
is simply by marching around in your backyard! It's quite the workout just doing it for a mere 3 mins as the grass/dirt etc is a bit more work then a flat surface. The important part is to work on raising your legs to bend at a 90 degree angle at an even beat. You can do this inside due to weather.
#1 Make a face mask - Who needs Botox when you have bananas? That's right: You can use a banana as an all-natural face mask that moisturizes your skin and leaves it looking and feeling softer. Mash up a medium-sized ripe banana into a smooth paste, apply gently to your face and neck. Let it set for 10-20 minutes, then rinse it off with cold water. Another popular mask recipe calls for 1/4 cup plain yogurt, 2 tablespoons honey, and 1 medium banana #2 • Brighten up houseplants Are the leaves on
your houseplants looking dingy or dusty? Don't mist them with water - that just spreads the dirt around. Rather, wipe down each leaf with the inside of a banana peel. It'll remove all of the gunk on the surface and replace it with a lustrous shine.
