Restoring Electrolytes During Hot Weather Activities

Since the weather is really hot sometimes water alone is not enough when you're doing activities that make you sweat a lot. I found Powerade Zero which has electrolytes and has zero calories. I drink some of it when hiking in the heat along with water to make sure I'm not just flushing all the electrolytes out of my system. Sweating and water alone sometimes depletes your system so this is a great tasting and zero cal way to make sure electrolytes are restored.

  • Hi LindaKay228;

    Thanks so much for sharing this info with all of us, I live in AZ where it's already triple digits, I drink a gallon of water a day, so I may on payday try to find a PowerAde Zero flavor I like to add to my water drinking. I used to drink Power Ade tropical punch flavor however I didn't like counting all the calories I was drinking, so I went back to just water.

    Thanks again for bringing this to our attention. Have a great week find a way to keep cool, hope your not affected by all the wild fires, I'm safe but soon the monsoon will be here & then flooding because no more trees to hold the water from just running off the landscapes.
