We all have weak moments, when you're torn between a craving and your ultimate goal. I have learned to shush that little voice by reminding myself that my conscious self is in control of my actions. The little voice can scream for chocolate all it wants, but if I just refuse to get up and get chocolate, then it will eventually give up and learn not to scream like that again! Ignorance is bliss.
MORE INFORMATION:
Start small: tell yourself if you can hold out for half an hour, then you can have the chocolate. Or if you can work out for just 10 minutes then you can stop. It's all mind over matter. Eventually you won't need to bargain; you'll be already doing the right things.
The voice of self doubt will be in your head every step of your journey. Find confidence in your self by celebrating the little victories and accomplishments along the way and soon your voice of confidence will be louder than your voice of self doubt!
