I've found that I often think something nice about someone (how they look, something they have done, etc) but often do not vocalize it. I have been trying harder to actually say it out loud. I may even write it on a note. I let that person know. It is amazing how good you both feel!!

Pay it forward. We've all heard about it, but it is not a common practice. Every day, I try to do something nice for at least one person. Sometimes it's doing a favor they didn't expect, sometimes it's a sincere compliment. Other days, it's bringing them a cup of their favorite coffee.
By "Paying it forward", you make someone else happy, and you feel more positive about yourself. The more positive you feel about yourself, the easier it is to take control of your lifestyle change.
I think a big part of me not giving up is the motivation and positive feedback from my husband. He is always picking my spirits up and constantly giving me compliments to make me feel better and to continue to try to get to my goal.
