Make exercising time a stress-free zone. I do not allow myself to worry about anything or think any unhappy thoughts while exercising. I began looking forward to exercising when it became the one part of my day where I could push all of my stressors out of my head and focus on my dreams and aspirations.

I started this years ago, this is my time. I will not think about anything except getting a good workout. (If I'm strength training my focus is on the muscles I'm working, if I'm running my focus is putting one foot in front of the other. You get the idea.) When my mind does starts to wander I will only let it go to positive places, like enjoying the flowers and birds on my run, or looking forward to vacation. When I go to the gym, I mentally leave all the days baggage at the door. It will wait for me, ha, ha. I don't always workout at the gym anymore, but no matter where I am I don't worry about what errands I have to run, or what to cook for dinner, etc.
