My motivation to get in shape and be healthier is 1) my dog who always looks at me with big brown eyes just so i can play with her and 2) the thought of having children. How can i teach them to be healthy and have a healthy start if i'm not healthy?
If I eat a smoothie in the morning- simply blending any kind of frozen fruit together with some milk and a few almonds- it gets me off to a healthy start and makes me more likely to eat healthy throughout the day.
I use a small hand blender; throw in half a frozen banana and about a cup of frozen or fresh berries with 5 almonds and a half cup of milk. There is no need to add sugar. It's a great boost and tastes great!
