Secrets of Success

My mother passed away in May. She lived a hoarder and I'm having a hard time into cleaning. I need to get motivated in some way. Maybe my kids will help me or I will make my mind up to get moving and clean. emoticon

  • Lots of hugs to you first of all!!!! And I agree with the comment about giving yourself time to grieve.
I am really bad at cleaning and sorting - and sometimes just getting someone to help me, or asking someone to come chat while I do some because it will help me works. also you might want to check out - it REALLY has helped me. emoticon - by DESERTFLAME
  • If your children are like mine, they are no where when it comes to helping with the work but there when it comes to giving advice as to how you should do it and what to get rid of. First of all, if your mom just past away, give yourself time to grieve and when you are ready then tackle it a bit at a time... a room at a time or a period of time at a time such "today I will do 4 hours". Unless you are under a set deadline to get it done because the home has to be sold or the county/city is demanding it be cleaned up or be fined, etc, don't overwhelm yourself to do it all in one day, week or month. - by GMACAMI
