Instead of watching tv while doing housework, put in a movie that you have already seen a few times. That way, instead of being tempted to stop cleaning and going to see what's happening on the tv, you can just follow the dialogue and know already!

I made a playlist of "Funtastic" positive music! For some reason, there are just some songs that no matter when I listen I always feel great and motivated afterward! I did the same with movies. I have a small section of my video library that has all the movies that empower and motivate me!
I love movies. Problem is, I love to eat too. Watching a movie is a trigger for me to eat. Obviously, I should remove movies from my arsenal of things to do, but if I love movies, where does that leave me? I'll tell you: deprived of both food and something I love, movies. No way. Here's my solution:
a) I do not eat in movie theaters. Ever. This is a hard and fast rule. I bring a bottle of water and gum instead. It's easy once you find out just how many calories are in movie theater popcorn!
b) I keep bags of baby carrots in the fridge for watching movies at home. Small, crunchy and filling!
