If you or your teenager has acne or zits you need to eat more leafy greens as they contain Zinc which fights acne. A salad a day cant hurt you! 1 TBS of Olive Oil a day will help unclog pores if you have zits and keep skin smooth. Eat Spinach, Kale, Bass, Trout, Salmon, Oysters, flaxseeds, nuts, Oatmeal, Whole Wheat BRead, Wheat Germ and Milk. They all have zinc. Drink lots of water, it flushes the toxins out of the body and is great to hydrate your skin.

    My Dr also added that any foods that cause inflammation make acne worse. Never had it in my teens but now at77 I do. 77 is not a typo. - by DANNPA
