Everyone falls off the wagon at times, but it's not the fact that we fall off but the fact that we get back on, that counts. When you want to come back after time off, think about how far you've already come. Even if you gained back weight, or maybe gained back all and then some, you've still never gone completely back to that old you. You STILL are in the fight to be healthy, and that has to count for something!
If you follow this secret, you won't look at getting/staying healthy as a chore but something that is fun and makes you happy.

I have about 24 "Other Goals" on Spark People. Do I actually accomplish every single goal every day? No! But having so many goals listed there allows me to do two wonderful things: 1) I can read them every day, reminding myself of my ideal day. 2) There are always more than 5 of them that I can honestly check off for having accomplished, thus maximizing my spark points and feeling the glow of accomplishment.
The types of goals this practice is best for are secondary or optional goals. For more important goals, such as exercising, tracking calories, etc. I don't even track them. I just do them.
I have a sedentary job, so to compensate, I make sure to do something physical every two hours. On my morning break, I walk around the parking lot. At lunch, I take a walk around the mall. And on my afternoon break, I will walk up and down the steps for 5 to 10 minutes.
Not only does it do my body good, but having something to look forward to makes the day go by faster.
When I don't feel like working out (6/7 days) I watch a "fitspo" on YouTube, because I know that that's where I want to be! I would love to be able to run for miles and not feel like I'm dying at the end, and being able to sport a bikini and not having to worry if there's a ginormous fat roll on my side. I want to be more than skinny, I want to be healthy, and looking at these women who accomplished that..inspires me.
