Potatoes Are Healthy, Still A Bargain, Low In Calories

Yes, white potatoes are a starchy vegetable. A potato with skin is low in calories & has key nutrients for a diet ~high in potassium, fiber,Vitamin C, B6, B3, B1, folic acid, magnesium & iron. Thin skin red potatoes are lower in starch & they don't need to be peeled. Red potatoes can be easily grilled or roasted & are delicious w/olive oil & nuts. Potatoes are good for stomach ulcers & acidity. Serve them with a protein, leafy greens or other dark green less starchy veggies, to balance carbs.

MORE INFORMATION:
Mash, Bake, steam, boil, even fry in some olive oil. Use in stews and roasts, soups, as sides, or bake with brocolli & cheese ontop. Add Oscar Mayer Real Bacon Bits.
Try eating a potato plain..it is so good with out all the stuff added.....go ahead just try it!
