When I run on the treadmill, if I spend too much time watching the clock I tend to get bored and stop sooner. I distract myself by finding a tv show I like that's longer than the time I want to run. I get into the show and end up running more because I want to see how it turns out.
I've started recording shows on the PVR so there's always something available that I like.

Why bother buying unhealthy food ?. When you go the market only shop on the outside isles. Produce, Meat, Dairy. All the processed food is in the middle. Bring an Ipod and distract yourself with music so you do not put other things in your cart.
