Recently I found out I have a ton of food allergies, which might have upset me, but it DIDN'T. You know why? I focus on what I CAN HAVE, not on what I can't have. And the can't haves are a long list of favorites, like ice cream and chocolate. When someone tell me how hard it must be to be so restricted, is say to them, 'BUT I LIKE ALMOST EVERYTHING I CAN HAVE' and I don't let myself think about the rest.
The long term payoff will be less pain, less pounds, and a happier and healthier me.
