When you are looking for something to eat in the fridge ,it's IMPORTANT to know the DATE of when a container was opened. I thought up a simple system that has helped me. I just opened a new container of cottage cheese today.When I am finished with my helping, I CLOSE the container and WRITE on it with a Sharpie permanent marker the DATE I OPENED it ~for example,OPENED 1/5/13. Then I know WHEN it was opened and how GOOD or bad THE CONTENTS IS without having to guess!
Plus I don't eat something that has gone bad ,especially when I have a cold .
I am soooo out of control on my eating. It is almost embarrassing to track foods BUT that is the thing that will save me is tracking what I eat if I stay honest to myself. Tracking foods opens my eyes to how off I have been and what I need to change get back on track46
