One of my struggles with dieting is sometimes obsessing and feeling like I should never "screw up". I never thought of making it a part of my program so that it doesn't feel like cheating. I love this idea! Thank you

I actually have one day during the week which is my "cheat day" and it works for me. I was stuck for awhile but I think giving my body a day like that helps me continue to gain results from my efforts the rest of the week. I usually have mexican food and chocolate peanut butter ice cream on Friday nights with no work out and a new netflix movie

Yes, I have heard this can shock your system and change things up. I have a cookie night at least once a week or so because I love baking and eating cookie dough..I'll admit it. I usually eat at least half a dozen fresh baked cookies on cookie night and I'm not ashamed to admit it!!!

Free Day
Once every other week I give myself a free day where I can eat what I want without counting calories.
I allow myself one free day during the week. My free day is Sunday. I can eat something sweet. This keeps me from eating a desert everyday if I know I can have one once a week. Sometimes it is the good stuff like dark chocolate.
Free Week Trial Passes, Free Day Passes, Free Workouts, Etc.
ALWAYS SAY YES to offers for "A free week" or "A free trial period" or "A free day pass" at a fitness center, gym or club!! Those offers are a fantastic chance to shake up your workout, freshen up your exercise routine and try different pieces of cardio or weight equipment you might not have known about. Even if you have to endure a sales pitch and have no intention to join that gym, it's a small price to pay for some otherwise FREE "zing" in your fitness routine!
MORE INFORMATION:
Last year, when my gym membership ran out and I couldn't afford to renew it, I gathered up "Try us free for a week!" offers from at least 10 local fitness centers, and literally was able to work out at all different places around town for 2 months, for nothing! It was so fun -- and totally legal!
