Kidney beans, lentils, baked beans and many others also. Eggs are a great source of energy & oats are low on the glycemic index, as they have a lot of fiber, which means that your body gets a steady stream of energy. of course water, your body cannot generate energy. Saturated fats such as butter &cheese tend to make you lethargic stay away from them
