I have an unusual health condition that requires moving my body even when standing or sitting for a length of time. I have fun doing lunges while waiting in line at the grocery or kicking my legs forward while sitting in a public place. People occasionally stare, but I don't mind. When faced with the abundance of holiday 'goodies' , I came to the realization that, instead of telling myself 'I DESERVE" a 'treat", I change my attitude to "I DESERVE to be HEALTHY!, I have a better chance of walking away, feeling better without gobbling up excess empty calories! Best wishes!
If you cant squeeze in exercise on a day or just plain dont want to then the best advice is to be up and moving around as much as possible! Cleaning or something!! I challenge my team to up and moving 10 mins of every hour they are awake! Best wishes on your journey!
