I eat the same breakfast every day to lower my cholestrol---oatmeal with usually some fruit. I used to put it in the Nutrition tracker every day til I realized I could SAVE SOME TIME & ENERGY by copying it a week ahead on the COPY CUSTOM FOODS above the meal listed [on the Nutrition Tracker] . That little amt. of time INVESTED has SAVED ME TIME and TIME AGAIN [pun intended!]. If I am making a big batch of food, say a SP recipe for chili, I can copy THAT CUSTOM FOOD for Dinner a week ahead ...
...or however many days! These ways of tracking food help KEEP me on the Nutrition Tracker and THAT helps keeps my goal weight maintained!
Look for ways to add extra steps to your day. I live in NYC and therefore don't have a car, but I choose routes that are less than direct or walk 5 blocks to take the bus home rather than a half block to the subway. If you drive, park at the furthest (safe) spot from the shop you're going to. Even a few extra steps adds up fast!
We have our help desk team on the other side of the building from where I sit. It's literally about a quarter-mile walk there. Whenever I have an issue, I usually get up and walk over there instead of e-mailing or calling them.
I suddenly have walked an extra half a mile during the day.
