I have found that weighing in weekly on Wednesday works good for me. In the past I always weighed in on Fridays and that lead to weekend binges. Monday weigh ins didn't work so well because of occasional straying on weekends. Wednesdays work well, it all averages out anyway but I recomend trying the Wednesday weigh in.
If you weigh yourself once a week, make Friday the day you weigh. It will give you extra motavation going into the Temptation days if you have had a good week. If you have had a bad week then weighing on Friday can help you refocus yourself and prepare for the weekend.
