Whenever I find myself making excuses for why I can't eat healthy today or why I can't go to the gym, I stop and think them through instead of just agreeing with them. It's like having a debate. I ask myself if the excuse is true and if it's worth the setback. As long as I force myself to face the excuse, I find myself eating well and heading to the gym. The excuse is not worth it.
Everytime I make an excuse to not be healthy and active. I write the excuse down and have a no excuse list. I post it so I can see how many times I try to weasel out. Example: excuse-can't afford gym well could I afford monthly rx because of bad health?
Make a list of your excuses! Lots of times, we make excuses for not exercising or not making better food choices. If you can identify these excuses, you can push past them. Don't let excuses slow you down from reaching your goals and dreams!!!
