I am an emotional eater, when I am in a binge mood. I now realize that I can stop and think okay what am I upset about, or why am I feeling bad about myself? Once I do that I can step away from the food, and feel really good and positive about myself. I didn't binge and I realize another trigger that I can watch for in the future. This also works for meal choices, am I really hungry or is it just that time of day? This very empowering to me.

Constantly looking forward to being at my goal weight in the future and not stopping to think about how long it will take me to get there. Even with exercise, for example, if I stopped to think about how miserable it might be when I got there, I wouldn't go. Instead I just get up as soon as my alarm goes off and go...and I feel so much better about myself afterward that I want to do it again.
Don't think about it, just DO IT! If you have a strong determination to do something that'll positively influence you - never stop to reconsider the options. When you stop to think things over, it's easy to talk yourself out of something that could be great and/or change your life. 214
We are our own worst critics and biggest fans. Nobody knows a person like you know yourself, so who else to encourage you than YOU!? If you don't take that step, then it's going to be a few days of what-could-have-been. Taking a leap is scary, but if you take small hops, it'll always work out.
