old. D.C. Jarvis, M.D maintained that an overweight person could lose weight
gradually by taking 2 teaspoons of ACV in a glass of water before meals.

  • I can only find apple cider vinegar that has already been diluted to 5% acidity. Will this still work and if so do I need to adjust the serving used? - by LAURA-HANSON
  • Make it a hot drink.
Couple of teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in a cup of boiled water, then add a teaspoon of honey, or any kind of sweetener really.
Also, to help with colds and sore throats, try manuka honey in it. - by DEEPSOUTHGAL
  • It's definitely an acquired taste but it has been used for many things. It also helps settle an upset stomach and aids in the feeling of heartburn. My Chiropractor recommended this to me and I have to admit that I was skeptical at first. - by KPETSCHE
  • I've heard this too, and it helps that it smells and tastes better than white. - by DHPOTTER

I have heard this all my life. Seems to me that drinking water before meals also aids in weight loss. If I drank vinegar before I ate, I would not have much appetite, I think. Should try it.
