Knitting - A Distraction From My Emotions And Eating

My emotions and thoughts sometimes get out of control and I turn to food to lessen the emotion. When I knit, I find that the racing thoughts and emotions lessen because it is distracting me from what is bothering me busy hand. Also, I use knitting as a distraction when I watch TV or DVDs. If I am knitting, my hands are busy which prevents me from eating.

I am also a knitter and use it to keep my hands busy. Once I get all cozy on my recliner, I hate to break my rythum bu running to the kitchen for a snack!
