Raw foods high in fiber like green vegetables and fruit are excellent for keeping hunger down... fiber is absorbed more slowly and will sustain you for longer. It's also very low calorie, so there is no guilt when you feel like eating more! I pretty much stuff my face and lose weight consistently. The things I watch are my use of oils and such when I cook food.

    fruits and veggies are key to weight loss. They keep you fuller for longer, and give you the nutrients you need

    I wished this worked for me. When I was loosing weight with Spark, I was eating 10 cups of raw spinach, 6 baby carrots, 1/4 c dried cranberries, 4Tbsp of low fat dressing, 1/8 c of sunflower seeds for lunch. Even with all this bulk, I would finish and would be starving. When I finally got tired of eating all that, and being hungry all the time, I gained back almost all 40 lbs. I don't know how raw veggies can fill someone up.
