Raw foods high in fiber like green vegetables and fruit are excellent for keeping hunger down... fiber is absorbed more slowly and will sustain you for longer. It's also very low calorie, so there is no guilt when you feel like eating more! I pretty much stuff my face and lose weight consistently. The things I watch are my use of oils and such when I cook food.

So I really, really do not like most vegetables, but especially not green, leafy vegetables. My clever husband has been making pesto with greens and I just love it! He blends together greens (he so far has used beet greens, turnip greens, and mustard greens), garlic, olive oil, and herbs to taste. Fantastic!
