Waiting for your oven to preheat or for your water to boil? Grab a few cans or water bottles and work that upper body. Try sets of flys, bicep curls, tricep presses...use your imagination. Bored by stirring food? Squeeze your rear. Three sets of 10-12 reps. Squeeze tightly, hold for three counts, relax. You can sneak this exercise in while talking on the phone, brushing your teeth or standing in line. Do some standing push-ups against the wall. Add some sets of calf or toe raises. The sky's the limit!
430 The big turkey day is quickly approaching, but it's not to late to plan something that takes everyone away from the table and puts an end to the meal. Perhaps it's a showing of the family movies, the kids dressing up and giving a Pilgrim & Indian play, or a game of some sort. Something fun to signal an end to eating and moving on to a fun activity that we look forward to. The sky is the limit of fun ideas!
