Since onions have the property of helping lower blood sugar, they are good for those suffering from diabetes. Onion, being a diuretic, increases the secretion of urine, and also helps reduce inflammation. I like to grill a grilled cheese sandwich and fry onions just until they are warm and still hard with the grilled cheese. Makes the sandwich ever so tasty.
