If you're ready to quit think to yourself "can i make it through just one more minute" and when that minutes up... think the same thing -- before you know it, you've done another ten, fifteen, or thirty minutes.
Even if you just get that one more minute in, it's one more towards your goal!

    I do this most of the time and it works. When the trainer asks me for 2 more, 5 more etc., I give him 3 more, 6 more and so on or, with abs crunches, when he says give me 50, I give him 60! He's a smashing young man and I'm a 62yr old woman who isn't going to let him think I'm wimping out! Let's hear it for the mature peops!

    Most of my exercise is done at the gym, and at the end of a Body Pump routine, the instructor will often say something like 'five more reps' or 'one more minute', and what seemed impossible becomes possible.
