I bought some blackboard paint and made one big blackboard to keep track of my goals, chores, diet etc. I put a few smaller ones in places like the kitchen and door for reminders like groceries.

If you can, find a group to hold you accountable. I participate in the Healthy Walkers Club every Wednesday. Our local mall opens an hour early just for walkers (the stores are closed), so we walk every week, the same day and time. It's a great way to socialize & get a workout in.104
