If you are one of those that can't resist the flush of the Niacin to lower the cholesterol then do this. From a pharmacist word.

Take aspirin (if you are not allegic to it) 30 minutes before the Niacin (any milligram), this will help the flush. You won't feel it, confirmed.

I have been doing this for the last 4 days. Also do this in the afternoon. emoticon

  • It DOES work. A Pharm. told my mom to do that when she complained of flushing. - by SEDONACAT

well at least the aspirin has helped me to the pain in the back lately. - by CHICA_BORICUA
  • Niacin flush is caused by dilation of surface blood vessels. Niacinimide dilates the deep blood vessels. Another way to avoid the flush is to take niacin and niacinimde together. It works, it's healthy, and you're not taking unnecessary aspirin. - by CLIMBERS_ROCK
